TimelineWe put 7 important events and 2 famous people of Malaysia, and 8 important events and 3 famous people of Singapore. We also put some fun facts and national flags and symbols of Singapore and Malaysia into the timeline. 3D Model: TrainsFor models, we designed and made three trains from different period of time by our own. This represent the development of transport system in Singapore through 50 years. The front and back side of each train will be shown below;
The last train is also the underground of Singapore, this is based on the Singaporean train at 2015, which is the 50th anniversary of Singaporean independence, and this kind of underground is currently in use. Learning record formLearning record form is form that I first put questions I have on this topic and questions I have through out the project. Also, it record the informations I learned when I research on the topics and questions I have at question section. Evidence of learningWork logMind map #2Description This project is about historical event, culture, and political status of Malaysia and Singapore in modern times. The first product is timeline, it will show big events in Malaysia and Singapore from independence of Malaysia to present; however, some important people will be label independently on this timetable in order to show the significant impact these people have on Malaysia and Singapore history. The second product is model, our group decided to do a train with 3 carriage and a head of subway train, each carriage will show different time period of Singapore. In our plan, the first carriage will be the head; second one will be model of modern Singapore metro; third one will be model of Singapore metro in 1990, which is 25th year after Singapore declared independence; fourth one will be model of Singapore train in 1965, the first year of independent Singapore.

This essay is very difficult, but I did learned a lot of things while I was doing it. The first thing is research sources effectively, this skill is very important and difficult to improve, but after many practices in this essay, I believe my skill level on research sources has developed. Furthermore, improve the ability to write a formal academic paper; Although this essay couldn't be called as a real academic paper, but I believe this essay still practice many basic techniques and knowledges about academic paper. Last of all, awareness on Southeast Asia current situation; Because of massive amount of research, I got to knew some of current news and status of Southeast Asia inevitably. Overall, writing this essay is beneficial to both my skills on essay writing and knowledges of Southeast Asia.

At start: Welcome to IRAN (everyone)
After 11th slide : Let's go on the bus and head on to the cultural and religious attrations. After 13th slide: Our first destination is a Muslim mosque, named Imamzadeh Saleh, it bulit in 700 AD, not long after the foundation of Islam, At that time, Iran controlled by the Kingdom of Ghazan Khan. As one of oldest mosque in the world, it have a pretty high popularity in Tehran. Also, this mosque run burcials for dead muslims. In fact, some burcials of famous people was run in here, Such as the Prime minister of Iran from 1906 to 1907 who name Mirza Nasorallah. Similarly, the prime minister from 1918 to 1923 also runs his burcials in this mosque. As you can see, the colours inside the mosque is very bright and beautiful. At 16th slide: Ok, Lets go to our next destination! After 17th slide: This tower is very tall, right? this tower is called Milad tower, another name is Tehran tower. In fact, it is the sixth tallest tower in the world, approximately 435m from top to bottom. Also, this tower is located inside a complex which called: International trade and convention center of Tehran. This is the city centre of Tehran. Interesting fact time, eventhough this tower is built in 2000s, but it first planned in a project at 1970s, named Shahestan Pahlavi. Also, it designed by an American urban planner, and bulit for government use. Unfortunately, the project cancelled in the revolution of 1979. Now, lets know more about Iran's politics: Iran is a country thar mix religion and politic system together, this kind of system are called "Theocracy." Most of laws in this country was based on the ideology of Islam. Reflections of the Iran tour project.
In this project, I did a "fake" tour to Iran, which have the purpose of introduce Iran's traditional living style and characteristic of Iran to my friends. First, I research about all the interesting and important Iranian traditions and attractions, then I select a few that seems interest tourists the most, and have deeper research about them.
I used skills of altruistic global citizens and innovative thinker, and developed them. The altruistic globalism showed while presenting cultural and religious attractions and local festivals. The combination of modern and traditional attractions are where I showed the creativity. In this project, the inforgraphic of Mr. Sun's life and ideas, As one of the most important person in my country's history, I firstly focus on his ideas and autobiography which is teaching to students in China. Then I compare to the informations of those things I search in western world and learned in Class, Lastly, I select the reliable informations and put it in my inforgraphic, also some of my understanding of Mr.Sun's ideas.
I used skills of strategic learners, innovative thinker and articulate communcators. The way I showed strategy of learning is search different informations on each sources. My opinion which add on Mr.Sun's ideas are best explained innovative thinker. Lastly, I decided to compare different informations instead of trust only one source provide me a non-discrimination inforgraphic to most of the social group. |
